Cooking at the Farmers Market

Many of the larger famers markets collaborate with local restaurants and culinary schools to put on hourly cooking demonstrations. This is a profit to both the farmer and the chef. Through this the market is able to provide entertainment that holds the shoppers interest and advertizes some of the local wears. At the same time restaurants and chefs are able to make a name for themselves and display their talents. The chefs and vendors are not the only ones that gain from these demonstrations. The shoppers are given helpful cooking tips and useful information about what to purchase when perusing the various stalls and tables.
Look up a local farmers market near you to see if they offer cooking demonstrations. It’s an informative and enjoyable experience you won’t want to miss.
